I don’t usually write reviews — I actually reached out directly to Rugged Valley with my feedback — but after repeated marketing emails asking for one, here it is.
I recently purchased a $1,270 seat cover set for my new ute. 2025 Triton GLX sport
On the positive side, the material quality and overall fit are decent, and most of the covers installed well. I really wanted to love this product, because I spent the extra money to properly protect and preserve my interior.
Unfortunately, a few details let the product down, and I didn’t feel the company made much effort to improve my experience after I reached out:
1. Centre console cover: Once fitted, the console wouldn’t latch properly. I had to modify and resew it myself to make it usable — not really what you expect after spending over a thousand dollars.
2. Rear bench: The design relies on Velcro attaching directly to the carpet, which over time will pull at and damage the fibres. I ended up making my own strap system to work around it.
3 Front seats: The installation instructions were vague, leaving me with Velcro that catches on the rear seat upholstery. Whe a simple extension of fabric and 2 elastic loops would have it latch like the factory seat skirt.
4. Headrest covers: Not labelled front/rear, so there’s some trial and error to get them to fit properly.
When I reached out, I got polite responses and one offer to “look into” fixing the console issue, but no real follow-up or solutions. For what these cost, I…
