HOW TO FIT

HOW TO FIT

The instructions below are a general guide to fitting your tailor made seat covers. Happy road tripping!

FRONT BUCKET PAIR – AIRBAG SEATS

1. Remove the seat cover pieces from the packaging.

2. Check that you have all the necessary pieces for your vehicle, this should be: x2 back rest covers, x2 base covers and x2 head rest covers,

3. Both back rest covers and base covers are identified on the inside with Driver and Passenger labels for their respective seats. This is important that the backrests get fitted to the correct seats as these have the airbags in them.

4. Set all the passenger pieces to one side, and we will start with fitting the driver side.

5. Slide the head rest cover over the head rest and remove the head rest out of the seat.

6. Slide the entire seat forward to make it easier to be able to reach under the seat and attach/tighten the Velcro straps.

7. Slide the base cover over the seat base, ensuring it is clear of levers or buttons.

8. Push rear flap through seat to rear (the gap between the backrest and base). There may be a flap that covers this gap but will still allow you to push this flap through.

9. With this flap pushed through now do up the Velcro’s firmly underneath the seat base, including the strap which runs side-to-side, this strap is to be pushed between the upholstery and the trims surrounding the seat base

10. Attach the Velcro straps together. Straps will run front-to-back, and on some models there will be an extra strap running from left to right. This is to run down between the upholstery and any plastic trims

11. Slide the backrest cover down over the seat, making sure that the seams follow the contours of the seat and that the AIRBAG seam is on the door side of the seat. The Airbag seam has a label sewn into the seat to display this panel.

12. Take front bottom flap and push through between the back and the base, this flap will Velcro down to the top of the base cover. At the back of the seat cover the Velcro attaches to the flap which runs under the seat.

13. Pull tightly and match up the Velcro on the top of the base cover – it should be a snug fit.

14. Return head rest into position through the eyelets in the top of the backrest cover.

15. Repeat to fit the seat covers to the other front seat.

Or with Velcro straps running front-to- back, this style is only on the models that the base can fold up off the floor.

13. Make sure that the base cover is pushed firmly back so that it fits snuggly and follows the shape of the seat.
