How to Fit Your Rugged Valley Canvas Seat Covers

 

The instructions below are a general guide to fitting your covers, whilst each seat is different, this guide should set you on the right track.
Rugged Valley Seat Covers are carefully designed and professionally certified to cover airbags where necessary.
These seat cover must be fitted correctly as Rugged Valley accepts no responsibility for the airbag not deploying due to incorrect fitting.

 

 

Front Bucket Pair Covers

 

1. Remove the seat cover pieces from packaging.

2. Check that you have all the necessary pieces for your vehicle, this should be: x2 back rest covers, x2 base covers and x2 head rest covers,

3. Both back rest covers and base covers are identified on the inside with a ‘D’ for driver’s seat or a ‘P’ for passenger seat.

4. Set all the drivers pieces to one side, and the remaining pieces will be for the passenger seat.

5. Slide the head rest covers over the head rests and remove the head rest out of the seat.

6. Slide the backrest cover down over the seat, making sure that the seams follow the contours of the seat.

7. Take front bottom flap and push through seat to rear (the gap between the backrest and base).

8. Pull tightly and match up the Velcro straps inside the rear of the cover – it should be a snug fit.

9. Slide the base cover over the seat base, ensuring it is clear of levers or buttons.

10. Push rear flap through seat to rear (the gap between the backrest and base).

11. Slide the entire seat forward to make it easier to be able to reach under the seat and tighten the Velcro straps.

12. Attach the Velcro straps together. Straps will run front-to- back and on some models there will be an extra strap running from left to right.

13. Replace head rest into position through the eyelets in the top of the back rest cover.

14. Repeat to fit the seat covers to the other front seat.

 

 

Rear Bench Covers

 

1. Remove the seat cover pieces from packaging.

2. Check that you have all the necessary pieces for your vehicle, this should be: x1 back rest cover, x1 base cover, x1 optional armrest and x2-3 head rest covers depending on your vehicle.

3. If your rear seat is a split seat then you will have 2 backrest covers and/or 2 base covers. Either 50:50 or 60:40 split.

4. If there are 3 head rests in the vehicle the centre headrest will be identified on the inside with a ‘CHR’ for centre head rest.

5. Slide the head rest covers over the head rests and remove the head rests out of the seat.

6. Slide the backrest cover down over the seat, making sure that the seams follow the contours of the seat.

7. Take front bottom flap and push through seat to rear (the gap between the backrest and base).

8. Pull tightly and match up the Velcro straps on the inside of the backrest – it should be a snug fit.

9. Slide the base cover over the seat base.

10. Push rear flap through seat to rear (the gap between the backrest and base).

11. Rugged Valley rear base covers are fitted in 1 of 2 ways:

– Either with a draw cord which ties off to an eyelet at each back corner, this will hold the best if you tie the cord off to one eyelet and then pull the cord back towards the other eyelet and tie off.

– Or with Velcro straps running front-to- back, this style is only on the models that the base can fold up off the floor.

12. Make sure that the base cover is pushed firmly back so that it fits snuggly and follows the shape of the seat.

13. Replace head rest into position through the eyelets in the top of the back rest cover.

 

 

 

Tractor and Excavator Driver Bucket Covers

 

1. Remove the seat cover pieces from packaging.

2. Check that you have all the necessary pieces for your vehicle, these machines may/may not include a headrest.

So you will either have 2 or 3 pieces in the set.

3. Slide the head rest covers over the head rests and remove the head rest out of the seat.

4. To remove the head rest you will need to jolt the head rest firmly to get it past a catch in the seat,

5. Slide the backrest cover down over the seat, making sure that the seams follow the contours of the seat.

6.  Take front bottom flap and push through seat to rear (the gap between the backrest and base).

7. Once this is through, tie one end of the draw cord to the first eyelet and then tie the other end off to the second eyelet. Pull the cord firmly before knotting.

8. Slide the base cover over the seat base, ensuring it is clear of levers or buttons.

9. Push rear flap through seat to rear (the gap between the backrest and base).

10. Once again, tie one end of the draw cord to the first eyelet and then tie the other end off to the second eyelet. Pull the cord firmly before knotting.

11. Replace head rest into position through the eyelets in the top of the back rest cover.

 

 

 

Quad Bike Covers

 

1. Unclip the quad bike seat from your bike.

2. Remove seat covers pieces from packaging.

3. Slide seat cover around seat.

– If the seat cover has elastic around the edge, the cover will just stretch around the seat.

– If the seat cover has draw cord, pull tightly and tie cords together at rear of the seat.
